A few things to agree on.

These terms apply to ShortMe’s website, iOS application, and Android application. By using the service, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into an agreement.

Your account and content

Keep your account access secure and use accurate information. You retain ownership of your footage and outputs to the extent applicable law allows. You grant ShortMe and its processing providers permission to store, process, and transform the material only as needed to provide the service.

Upload only content you have the right to use. Do not upload illegal material, exploitative content, malware, or footage that violates others’ privacy or rights. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or abuse free trial accounts.

AI editing and results

ShortMe uses AI to find and combine moments from your footage. Results can be imperfect. Review every short, caption, and edit before publication, including for changes in meaning, accuracy, privacy, and third-party rights. A requested duration is a target: natural endings may produce shorter videos, and limited source material may produce fewer results. We do not guarantee popularity, reach, or revenue.

Subscriptions and lifetime access

Weekly, monthly, and yearly plans renew automatically until cancelled through the original payment provider. Lifetime is a one-time purchase of ongoing access to the service while it operates, with a fixed monthly processing allowance; it is not unlimited processing or a guarantee that the service will exist forever.

Weekly includes 60 source minutes per week. Monthly and yearly include 240 source minutes per month. Lifetime includes 120 source minutes per month. Annual and lifetime allowances reset monthly from the purchase date. Unused minutes do not roll over. Features and current prices are shown before purchase; local taxes and store pricing may apply.

Each creative generation uses the duration of its source video, regardless of the number of short variants selected. Another creative generation uses minutes again. Technical retries, caption switches, and downloads do not consume additional minutes. A complete technical failure releases the task’s reserved allowance. Where some outputs succeed, usage may be charged once for that generation.

Free trial

A new account may process one source up to 10 minutes long into one short without a card or watermark. The trial is consumed only after a successful result. It does not include additional creative generations and is subject to available processing capacity.

Cancellation, refunds, and account deletion

Cancel renewal in your web billing portal, Apple subscription settings, or Google Play subscription settings, depending on where you purchased. Cancellation generally leaves access in place until the paid period ends. Store refund requests follow the relevant store process; web billing questions can be sent to support. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.

Deleting your account removes access to your saved work. It may not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel renewal through the original store before deleting your account.

Storage, availability, and changes

Source files and analysis expire after 7 days; results expire after 30 days. Download work you want to keep. Processing may be delayed by maintenance, provider outages, capacity, or budget limits. We may suspend abusive accounts, or change or discontinue parts of the service with appropriate notice and any remedies required by law.

Responsibility

Use the service with reasonable care. To the extent allowed by law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or error-free results. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or reduces rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
